Our 60 Bed Rehab Hospital provides thorough,professional and modern treatments for Neurological and Orthopedicinjuries as well as emotional support to help in patient'srecovery. Patient Diagnoses treated includes: Stroke, NeurologicalDisorder, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputation, TraumaInjuries and Orthopedic conditions. Patients receive at least threehours of therapy each day, in an upbeat, team-oriented, family andpatient centered environment. The Rehab Hospital is accredited byThe Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Hospitals (CARF)for adults and children 8 and above. The Rehab Hospital holds aspecialty certification in stroke and brain injury management foradults. In addition to this, the Rehab Hospital has been designateda "Center of Excellence" by the Neuro-Developmental TreatmentAssociation (NDTA) for the adult population - the first of its kindin the Nation. Role Overview: The Director of Nursing isresponsible for the daily operations of the nursing process thatincludes: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation ofpatient care. This position work closely with the Medical Directorof the Rehab Hospital. This position will work with amultidisciplinary team that includes Physicians, AdvancedProviders, Psychologists, Therapists and Care Managers. The idealCandidate will be a Master's prepared RN with at least 3 years ofleadership, preferably in a Rehabilitation sitting.
