PRN Cardiovascular Sonographer - Echocardiographer - GulfCoast Medical Center

Performs complete echocardiographic study integratingall imaging modalities necessary to obtain all pertinent patientdata for diagnostic purposes. Sonographer will specialize intransthoracic echocardiographic studies according to departmentaland IAC protocol (which consist of M-mode, two-dimensionalechocardiograms, color flow, pulsed wave and continuous waveDoppler). Sonographer will perform imaging enhancement agents,saline bubble, portable, stress echo studies, and assists withtransesophageal echocardiographic procedures. Document completelyand accurately patient data and echo exam information utilizingcurrent information management system and follows appropriatebilling for procedures. Assist in the orientation and training ofall levels of trainees and visitors assigned to theEchocardiography Laboratory. Educational
