We are tech driven, and we're creating the lab ofthe future - an environment where you can deliver cutting edgediagnostics and help us drive new discoveries and breakthroughs.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide direction and monitoring ofworkflow to meet deadlines and assure departmental coverage *Develop departmental policies/procedures and maintains these inwritten format * Provide feedback to employees via PD&Rprocess, daily feedback, corrective actions and mentoring *Knowledge of all area of histology and cytology support functionsand able to perform proficiently as needed * Identify and resolveall employee/client issues * Responsible for scheduling of timeoff/breaks/lunches * May supervise transcription area * Demonstrateand convey an understanding of the compliance policies relating totest ordering, test reporting, add-on tests, TIQ/TNRP, reflex testsand custom panels * Responsible for orientation and training ofnewly hired employees * Able to perform all AP Support Specialist,AP Resolution Specialist and other support functions, as needed *All other duties as assigned JOB
