Responsibilities The RN ClinicalNurse for the Support Team - PRN is a proactive member of aninterdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers whoensure that patients, families and significant others receiveindividualized high quality, safe patient care. They practice in aclinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers andother leaders and is supported through the WellStar SharedGovernance Model. The framework for practice is steered by theWellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing and evidencebased practice and research. RN competencies are derived from thesemodels and supported by the WellStar Core Competencies.Qualifications Required Minimum Education * Graduate of anaccredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree innursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred;National certification in area of specialty preferred. RequiredMinimum Licensure/Certification * Current/active license as aregistered nurse in the State of Georgia; Must have a current BLScard from the American Heart Association on the first day ofemployment in position. Required Minimum Experience * Two years ofcurrent direct patient care experience required. Required MinimumSkills * Ability to read, write and speak English language,optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holdsbasic computer skills; * Strong interpersonal, collaborative skillsalong with customer service skills required; * Ability to functionin a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using adecisive, composed and respectful manner; Join us for outstandingbenefits and development opportunities.
