Responsibilities Significant Sign-On Bonus andRelocation assistance offered for qualified experienced RNs.Fulltime Days 7a-7p The Registered Nurse (RN) For Surgical TraumaFulltime Days is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team oflicensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients,families and significant others receive individualized highquality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environmentthat is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and issupported through the WellStar Shared Governance Model. Theframework for practice is steered by the WellStar ProfessionalPractice Model, 5-Star Nursing and evidence based practice andresearch. RN competencies are derived from these models andsupported by the WellStar Core Competencies. It is expected thatall RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold thepractice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional NursePractice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code ofEthics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. As amember of the patient services team, it is expected that theindividual upholds the voice of the patient, system policies andprocedures while supporting service excellence goals.Qualifications Required Minimum Education: * Graduate of anaccredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree innursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: * Current/active licenseas a registered nurse in the State of Georgia; * Must have acurrent BLS card from the American Heart Association on the firstday of employment in position. * National certification in area ofspecialty preferred.
