Job Description
Responsible for examining, evaluating and testingindividuals with mechanical, physiological and developmentalimpairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or otherhealth and movement-related conditions in order to determine adiagnosis, prognosis and plan of treatment intervention, and assessthe ongoing effects of intervention. The OT is also responsible foralleviating impairments, functional limitations and disabilities bydesigning, implementing and modifying treatment interventions.Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury,impairment, functional limitation and disability, including thepromotion and maintenance of fitness, health and wellness inpopulations of all ages. The OT will be engaged in administration,consultation, education and research.
