Registered Nurse Peri-Anesthesia Care Unit

RN with two or more years of current Peri-AnesthesiaCare Unit BLS ACLS Call is required for this position. Thecandidate must be able to return to the hospital within 30 minutesof being called back Responsible for the safe delivery anddocumentation of patient care through the nursing process ofassessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Perform responsibilities in five areas of nursing practiceutilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving anddifferentiation of urgency in the role of: clinician, teacher,researcher, leadership and professional development. Responsiblefor directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based onestablished clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to byAmerican Nursing Association and in accordance with the FloridaNurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Collaborate withother professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficientpatient care delivery and the achievement of desired patientoutcomes. Support the organizations vision and mission. Useknowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into theprovision of patient care. Contribute to the provision of qualitynursing care through excellence in customer service and performanceimprovement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes inpatient care.
