Job Description
Responsible for the delivery of patient care in theirarea of specialty through the process of assessment; evaluation;diagnosing; recognition and prevention of adverse event; planning;and implementation. Performs responsibilities in four areas ofpractice: clinician, teacher, leadership and professionaldevelopment. Collaborates with other professional disciplines toensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and theachievement of desired patient outcomes. Continuously monitorsquality patient care through excellence in customer service andperformance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes inpatient care. Provides leadership in the practice location. NursePractitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) are required tofunction consistent with Florida Law. The Advanced Provider II maypractice in multiple places of service, e.g., has outpatient andinpatient responsibilities. May perform OP procedures. Coverspractice call; may work evenings & weekends. Cares for urgentpatients, often in a fast paced and unpredictable environment.Examples include LCC APs; Peds Hem/Onc APs. Educational
