Overview Role Summary: Provides leadership whichfacilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for thecomfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process ofassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide,delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients andfamily. Implements medically prescribed interventions. RequiredEducation: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Effective 3/1/18Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanceddegree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years ofhire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letterOR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and MissionHealth entities. Exemptions may be approved with CNO System Councilapproval. Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing. Certifications:Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse withthe North Carolina Board of Nursing or have a multi-state licensewhere applicable. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license mayapply, licensee should confirm with NCBON Certificate: BLSHealthcare Provider.Preferred License or Certifications: NationalCertification in area of specialty.
