RN Pediatric Neurology - Outpatient

Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced RN tojoin their Pediatric Neurology office. The ideal candidate willhave at least 3 years of nursing experience and prefer RN's withpediatric experience. The Registered Nurse is responsible forproviding an excellent patient experience while delivering anddocumenting safe patient care through utilization of the nursingprocess in collaboration with the physician and other care teammembers. This position is responsible for oversight andcoordination of nursing care delivered in the practice setting ortelephonically// ensuring the care delivered is effective//efficient and achieves desired patient outcomes. The RegisteredNurse is responsible for the delivery and coordination of nursingcare for patients based on treatment plan// established clinicalnursing practice standards subscribed to by American NursingAssociation and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Actand other regulatory standards. This position is responsible forproficient utilization of available tools and resources to providethe patient with education// specialty referral/authorizationassistance and community programs necessary for the coordination ofcare along the continuum. The Registered Nurse contributes to theprovision of quality care through excellence in customer serviceand utilization of performance improvement techniques thatdemonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
