Registered Nurse Open Heart /Operating Room

Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation ofpatient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing,planning, implementation, and evaluation. Perform responsibilitiesin five areas of nursing practice utilizing critical thinking,management, problem solving and differentiation of urgency in therole of: clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership andprofessional development. Responsible for directing andcoordinating nursing care for patients based on establishedclinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by AmericanNursing Association and in accordance with the Florida NursePractice Act and other regulatory standards. Collaborate with otherprofessional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patientcare delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.Support the organizations vision and mission. Use knowledge ofpatient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patientcare. Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care throughexcellence in customer service and performance improvementtechniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Thenurse practice is guided by the code of ethics for nurses withinterpretative statements.
