Ask about our significant sign-onbonuses and relocation assistance for qualified experienced RNs.Responsibilities The Float RN Clinical Nurse for the Support Teamis a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed andunlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families andsignificant others receive individualized high quality, safepatient care. They practice in a clinical environment that isadministered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supportedthrough the WellStar Shared Governance Model. The framework forpractice is steered by the WellStar Professional Practice Model,5-Star Nursing and evidence based practice and research. RNcompetencies are derived from these models and supported by theWellStar Core Competencies. It is expected that all RN ClinicalNurses are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice ofnursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Actand implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standardsput forth by the American Nurses Association. As a member of thepatient services team, it is expected that the individual upholdsthe voice of the patient, system policies and procedures whilesupporting service excellence goals. The requirement for thisposition is 2 years of experience for PRN Float. This position willhelp individuals gain a variety of skill sets and offers anopportunity to test and trial each unit before deciding to settledown on a specific unit or stay in the float department. Thisposition is for Night Shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 3 days perweek.
