The Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro Telemetry at CobbHospital in Austell is a proactive member of an interdisciplinaryteam of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure thatpatients, families and significant others receive individualizedhigh quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinicalenvironment that is administered by Nurse Managers and otherleaders and is supported through the WellStar Shared GovernanceModel. The framework for practice is steered by the WellStarProfessional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing and evidence basedpractice and research. RN competencies are derived from thesemodels and supported by the WellStar Core Competencies. It isexpected that all RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeableand uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the GeorgiaProfessional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope ofPractice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the AmericanNurses Association. As a member of the patient services team, it isexpected that the individual upholds the voiceof the patient,system policies and procedures while supporting service excellencegoals. This position is for Night Shift 700pm to 730pm.Qualifications Required Minimum Education: * Graduate of anaccredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree innursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: * Current/active licenseas a registered nurse in the State of Georgia; * Must have acurrent BLS card from the American Heart Association on the firstday of employment in position. * National certification in area ofspecialty preferred.
