A few responsibilities of our RN Coordinator Neonatal Data include:

·         Abstract clinical data and information from  patient medical records for  input into reporting software

·         Coordinate activities to ensure data queries related to patient registries are addressed and clarified in a timely manner

·         Generate and distributes reports to identified personnel for monitoring the quality of care provided. 

·         Responsible for integrity of computerized database systems for information storage and retrieval for performance improvement activities

·         Assist in aggregating data and its display as necessary

·         Provide staff support for department activities through data displays to identify patterns and trends

·         Develop and maintain effective channels of communication within the Medical Center and across the teams to promote relations and interaction

·         Assist with protecting confidentiality and access to information and files

·         Perform other performance improvement duties as assigned

·         Ability to communicate and apply the end-result design of requested information

·         Assist in the coordination and execution of clinical studies and ensure they are conducted in compliance with clinical protocols, Food and Drug Administration (FDA)/International Conference of Harmonization (ICH) Good Clinical Practice Standards

·         Promote system security and patient confidentiality and helps ensure compliance

·         Adhere to and supports HCA ITS standards, policies and procedures

·         Participate in the improvement of operational functions of the department

·         Establish communication and respectful relationships with all disciplines

·         Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all

·         Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of age-related factors to department specific population

Required Job Qualifications include:

·         Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse with the ability to obtain a Kansas Registered Nurse license within 90 days of start date

·         Bachelors of Science in Nursing

·         Two or more years in pediatric, pediatric ICU or neonatal ICU nursing
