Currently Hiring a Sr. Field Manager / Project Manager IN LOS ANGELES AREA
Job Qualifications
- 10+ years of masonry and concrete experience, in both commercial and residential sectors,both in-field and in office
- 5+ years of managerial experience
- OSHA 10 Certification (required) & OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with Building & Safety Inspections, and all OSHA Safety Standards
- Computer proficiency
- Valid Driver's License and Vehicle
- Willing to spend long hours on the road as needed and long hours in office daily
- Expert knowledge of the trade, including block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading,machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing and blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the central point of contact, communication, and general management for all aspects of production and installation, whether internal or client facing
- Coordinate and manage production schedule, staffing each job with appropriate work force
- Coordinate and manage client schedule, ensuring a consistent line of communication with customers to provide weekly updates
- Coordinate with all clients to address any/all project concerns as well as to perform final project walkthroughs to ensure customer sign off on all work
- Monitor and collect client payments when project timelines are hit
- Order all materials, equipment, and facilities
- Monitor and coordinate all project deliveries and pickups
- Attend bi-weekly intake meetings with production staff to review upcoming jobs, determine desired project workflow, and compile material/equipment lists
- Design / Redesign sold projects as needed
- Price and draft change orders as needed
- Answer employee questions regarding installation and if answer isn't known, research to find it
- Employee discipline and management
- Cornerstone/Model of ideal company culture
- Develop systems and procedures to create optimal production efficiency
- Meet with employees for reviews as determined by the employee review calendar
- Lead monthly tailgate meetings for each job site to review OSHA safety standards
- Attend project site visits to monitor the quality of work, enforce jobsite safety, and ensure production deadlines are met, as needed
- Perform project walkthroughs with foremen and lead masons to ensure the scope of work is clear for all employees on site, as needed
Incentives include:
- Starting Salary $80,000 (final pay based on level of experience)
- Paid Vacation (2 weeks), Sick Days (3 per year) and paid Select Holidays
