Technician

We are a busy and growing, AAHA certified, small animal practice in Northern Colorado seeking a hard-working, energetic, personable, detail oriented, enthusiastic, eager to learn and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We are a practice that encourages you to utilize skills learned in school as well as build on that skill set. Skills required include efficiently performing dental cleanings and charting teeth abnormalities, anesthesia induction and monitoring, surgical preparation, intravenous catheter placement, vaccination administration, venipuncture, performing in house labwork, and filling prescriptions. The technician will also assist in the exam room with patient restraint and client education. Our new team member must work well with others as well as independently, take initiative and thrive in a busy work environment. This team member will also be training new hires as well as helping to keep team members working efficiently. We value our relationships with both our clients and their pets and take pride in providing the best care possible. Services offered include individualized patient treatment plans, therapy laser, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in house labwork, laser surgery, dental procedures including extractions and client education. The technician we are looking for is someone with experience and the ability to multitask, think quickly on their feet and develop positive working relationships with clients and co-workers. We are looking to fill a full time position. Certification preferred but not required if applicant has appropriate training in above required tasks. Must be able to work varying hours Monday through Friday 7am to 7:30pm and Saturdays 7:45am to 2:30pm.
