4 RN Travelers Needed for ASAP Start - 3 for Nights; 1 Days

BSN preferred.


RN Traveler Contract - 13 weeks - extension options

Summary - RN Traveler – Ortho Trauma, MemorialCentral Hospital, Colorado Springs, CO
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance withapplicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, andmission of the organization.

MemorialCentral - Ortho Trauma. Minimum 2 years Ortho Trauma or Medical Surgical RN direct care experience

BLS required.





Rotating - 1900-0730 and 0700-1930

JobDuties

·Plans,implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment tooptimize outcomes and maximize available resources.


·Monitors,records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Collaborates asneeded across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patienttransfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.


·Evaluateslearning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family educationappropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

·Effectivelydelegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses andnew hires.

Skills and Abilities:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment andthe ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment, and take appropriate action. Follows Standard Precautionsusing personal protective equipment as required.
