Summary - Travel RN – NeurosciencesUnit 5C – Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO
Provides direct patient care usingthe nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practiceand with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Neuroscience is a 24-bed unit with all private rooms for our patients. The department specializes in acute stroke, TIA, seizure, epilepsy, and all Neurological related issues. They also care for neurosurgical patients, including post-operative bur hole management, deep brain stimulators, and other neurological procedures. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5 (days) and 1:5 (nights), with a dedicated Charge Nurse, Patient Care Tech support, and a daytime Unit Secretary. The staff work 12-hour shifts with holiday and weekend
