JOB SUMMARY: Provide patient quality healthcare usingdiagnostic C.T. equipment. To assess doctor s orders, and obtainpatient history information required to complete exams. Tocommunicate proper exam information to patients such as preps andcontrast education information. To follow protocols, regulationsand policies as set by physicians, administration and state. To useuniversal precautions in patient care. To stock, clean and maintaina professional environment in the C.T. department. To respectfullycommunicate with patients, family, coworkers and physiciansinformation needed for patient care. Required to follow proceduresand protocols for PET/CT machine. To keep abreast of evolvingtechnologies in CT. Staff is required to obtain 12 CME credits peryear pertaining to CT/X-ray, and provide a copy of the credits tothe supervisor. Staff is required to perform IV access andde-access protocols, including I-Stat testing. Flexibility in hoursin necessary for this role. M-Sat.
