Responsibilities SignificantSign-On Bonus and Relocation assistance offered for qualifiedexperienced RNs. three 12 hour 7p-7a shifts, with rotating weekendsExcellent opportunity to work collaboratively with other Asst NurseManagers within Acute Care to improve quality , patient experienceand visibility with staff within Acute Care. Great foundation toleadership skills to grow within WellStar. The Assistant NurseManager for our MedSurg/Acute Care units will work with aleadership team of acute care leaders within the acute care unitsat the Cobb campus, and will act is a registered professional nursewho provides support and works in conjunction with the nursemanager of a specific unit(s) or service. In collaboration with thenurse manager, holds staff accountable for the delivery of care andservices through effective communication, observation, and themanagement and measurement of specific interventions/practices andtheir associated outcomes. This key leader plays a significant rolein assisting the nurse manager in achieving clinical and financialgoals along with management of human/material resources asdelegated. He/she also plays a pivotal role in staff recruitment,mentoring and retention. He/She models the way to foster teamworkand collaboration with physicians, staff, patients and otherdepartments.
