Obstetrical Technician PRN

Summary:
Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of obstetrical procedures in the surgical environment.

Work Schedule: PRN Flex

Responsibilities:
Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.

Ensures good, clean, working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.

Assists circulating nurse, scrub nurse, physician, and/or other OR personnel with performing procedures.

Assists with providing patient care to maternal and newborn patients.

Withinscope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and theability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in afast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
