National cert - Medical Assistant

Aerotek is hiring for multiple Medical Assistants for large healthcare clients in the CT areas. Some positions do require a nation certification and some will not.

Also, have openings for LPN in CT.

Must Haves:
6 months+ of medical assistant experience/ schooling
- Professional communication skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Care:

• Accompanies patients to exam/procedure room.


• Prepares patients for visit. Typically includes height weight and blood pressure. Documents medical and surgical history, family history, social history, problem list and medications, in EPIC.


• Answers calls and return calls, could assist with scheduling


• Obtains lab/radiology reports, hospital notes, referral information as requested.
