SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Part-time

*$1,500 sign-on bonus available for candidates with 2+ years' RN experience!

Bonus eligibility limited to candidates not currently employed by HCA/HealthONE. Requires 2-year commitment.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Wound Care RN with us:


  • You will develop and maintains systems to promote internal and external customer satisfaction


  • You will be accountable for promoting high levels of employee, patient and physician satisfaction


  • You will promote optimal patient outcomes, while maintaining appropriate productivity standards


  • You will be responsible for ensuring adequate staffing, including providing for back-up staffing on off shifts as needed


  • You will assume 24 hour accountability in absence of director


  • You will demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients of designated units


  • You will provide patient care utilizing the nursing process – assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment – for identified patient populations per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act


  • You will document patient care administered


  • You will coordinate interdisciplinary communication and care


  • You will deliver care based on the age, physical, psychological, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient


  • You will demonstrate basic and unit specific competencies


  • You will supervise RNs, LPNs, MST, CNAs, US


  • You will conduct annual performance evaluations; provide coaching and counseling for employees as appropriate


  • You will supervises unit scheduling and monitor call-ins for appropriate action


Qualifications you will need for this role:


  • 4 year Bachelor Degree


  • Post-Graduate Degree preferred


  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license


  • Specialty Certification (WOCN) preferred


  • BLS for healthcare providers through American Heart or Red Cross


  • 3 - 5 years’ experience required


  • PACU and /or Ambulatory experience preferred


  • Management experience preferred
