18 bed ICU/PCU serving a variety of patient populations such as Medicine, Postop Surgical, Head and Neck, Oncology, Neuro and Neurosurgery, Cardiac, Plastics, and many others. On-site Intensivist coverage 24/7.

Seeking an experienced MSPCU RN with one to two years of PCU or ICU experience.
ACLS, BLS
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Job Duties
· Plans,implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment tooptimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
· Monitors,records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
· Collaboratesas needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patienttransfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
· Evaluateslearning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family educationappropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Effectivelydelegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses andnew hires.
Skills and Abilities:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills,decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a fast paced environment, and take appropriate action. FollowsStandard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
