The Registered Nurse (RN) Fulltime RN 7a-7p forG4W Med Surg ( variety of patients med , surg, pulmonary) is aproactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed andunlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families andsignificant others receive individualized high quality, safepatient care. They practice in a clinical environment that isadministered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supportedthrough the WellStar Shared Governance Model. The framework forpractice is steered by the WellStar Professional Practice Model,5-Star Nursing and evidence based practice and research. It isexpected that all RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeableand uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the GeorgiaProfessional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope ofPractice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the AmericanNurses Association. Qualifications Required Minimum Education *Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureatedegree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursingpreferred. Required Minimum Licensure/Certification * Currentlylicensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold aprivilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the EnhancedNurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). * Must have a current BLS card fromthe American Heart Association on the first day of employment inposition. Preferred Experience * National certification in area ofspecialty preferred. Required Minimum Experience * Experience withdirect patient care.
