Unit Description:
RN Traveler - Cardiovascular Holding - University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, CO
Our Cardiac and Vascular Pre/Post (CVPP) unit supports both inpatients and outpatients from the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Radiology, ECHO Lab and Bronchoscopy Lab, and focuses on continuity of care for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures. This includes preparation for the procedure as well as post procedure assessment, monitoring and discharge. The RN's in this department prep and recover both inpatient and outpatients up to Progressive Care level of care. Our CVPP RN's care for patients that have undergone, anesthesia, moderate sedation, and arterial line management.
