Job Description The role of the ProfessionalRegistered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care incollaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines ofthe New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. It is the responsibilityof the Professional Nurse to implement the Hospital's Mission andgoals through established policies, procedures and performanceimprovement activities. Implementation of these goals occursthrough organization and administration of individualized agespecific professional nursing care to patients within an assignedunit of the hospital.
