Our average daily census is 11. We take care of patients with STEMIs, sepsis, cardiac shock, CRRT, balloon pumps, Impellas, post-cardiac arrest hypothermia, DKAs, GI bleeds, medical and surgical ICU. We do get overflow from the other inpatient units. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve with a commitment toexcellence in all that we do in a good team environment. Job description:Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
