Summary:
Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.

FTE: 0.9, 72 hours perpay period

Responsibilities:
Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN,including but not limited to, monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucosemeasurements, and recording intake and output.

Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of dailyliving, including but not limited to, bathing, grooming and eating.

Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotionalconditions to nursing staff.

Assists with keeping unit(s) and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.

Within scope of job,requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to workwith minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and take appropriate action.
