Product Design Lead/Manager

-Owning UX and UI across every stage of product development - from defining a UX process based on cross-functional best practices, to managing stakeholder feedback, to ensuring that Product Owners have access to the the correct assets for development
-Managing internal or external UI resources for successful delivery of an entire product design including UI
-Designing interfaces for web and tablet (eventually mobile as well) utilizing reactive design
-Partnering with product and engineering teams to define user needs, map user flows, prototype interactions and expertly manage dependencies and tradeoffs related to UX and UI
-Moving quickly through different fidelity states of your solutions, showing your work early and often
-Creating close relationships with product team, customer success managers, sales managers and customers to ensure a full understanding of the product team needs and priorities
-Developing & maintaining design systems for current and future products
-Driving impact through a range of qualitative/quantitatively measurable UX goals
-Effectively communicating UX research findings, timelines and recommendations to engineering & leadership stakeholders

Qualifications
-BS or MS in Human-computer Interaction, Human Factors or a related field
-5+ years experience in User Experience Design
-Experience working across the full product lifecycle
-Experience working as the primary investigator on a project, as well as, managing external or internal design teams
-Experience shipping consumer and enterprise software products
-Experience setting a managing UX design patterns while executing a reactive design
-Desire to eventually lead a design team
-Ability to adapt - showing comfort situations where you are given a high-level problem and you must deliver a concrete end-to-end solution, as well as in situations where you are given constraints and you must find the best possible solution
-Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills
-Comfort working within, contributing to, and evolving design and UX systems that you may have not created
-Experience defining UX design processes for optimal ways of working between engineering and UX/UI
-Experience working closely with engineering teams, giving you a rough understanding of the engineering complexity inherent in your UX designs
-Familiarity with the capabilities and constraints of prevalent devices and platforms to inform your design
-Obsession with uncovering real user problems and ensuring they are kept top of mind throughout the design process
