Virtual Monitoring Technician

Summary:

VirtualHealth Technicians work at the state of art UCHealth Virtual Health Center(VHC) to provide care and patient monitoring for patients across the UCHealthsystem. As a monitor tech, you will have the opportunity to work with providersto monitor patient's ECG waveforms, ETCO2, and pulse oximeter from acentralized monitoring room. You will also have the opportunity to interact andcare for patients in our Virtual Sitter program, Virtual Urgent Care andRemotePatient Monitoring.

Thisposition is located in Colorado and is not a remote position.

Preferred (notrequired)

· Basic Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Experience

· Healthcare Experience

· Completion of science coursework in Biology,Anatomy, Physiology

$1000.00 sign-on bonus offered to qualifiedcandidates.

Responsibilities:
Performs surveillance of multiple patients and recognizes abnormal findings. Reportsand documents findings.
Recognizes, intervenes, reports and documents abnormal findings or at-risk behaviorduring monitoring. Maintains telemetry records, rhythm strips and chartingdocumentation in EMR.
Greets patients, answers phone calls and assists health care team with patientvisits.
Performs clerical tasks as needed.

Within scope of job,requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to workwith minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and take appropriate action.
