Cardiovascular Technician I Electrocardiography FT Rotating Shift

Summary:
Performs EKGs and may perform telemetry monitoring.

Work Schedule: Full Time Rotating

Responsibilities:
Attaches electrode lead lines to proper body areas based on type of test ordered. Prepares skin and surroundings to ensure valid results.

Obtains and documents EKG readings as directed.

Monitors patient condition continually and reports on or responds to changes in status and adverse results as appropriate.

May include scanning monitors and completing monitor reports. Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies and lab area.

Withinscope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and theability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in afast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
