IN THE ROLE
Deliver results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations
Develop new relationships – and maintain existing relationships - working with customers throughout the loan process and loan life cycle
Present financial solutions, based on customer needs, that meet their goals
Present customers with optional insurance products
Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding
Partner with local businesses to seek out and develop new customers
Learn how to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools
Manage the life cycle of the loan, including collections activities, complying with all laws and regulations
In the Role
At OneMain, Consumer Loan Sales Specialists serve as the initial contact for customers with a variety of financial needs. You will help customers assess and identify the appropriate products or services OneMain offers by listening and understanding their financial situation. The position will require strong knowledge of OneMain’s personal lending products and a high level of motivation to meet or exceed goals. Our work focuses on new and previous customers who are looking for additional financing or insurance options to meet their personal financial needs.

Processing applications for multiple personal lending products
Implementing key strategies to drive growth as well as demonstrating exemplary customer service standards and a high level of energy to exceed goals
Reading and understanding credit bureau reports and maintaining a high level of personal lending product knowledge
Maintaining awareness of company policies and procedures, federal / state laws and providing guidance to other team members to ensure compliance
Actively marketing and selling OneMain lending products and services and demonstrating strong collaborative skills within a team environment
