Our 200 bed facility is a Level III trauma center, the only trauma center in Northern New Mexico, and serves a seven county area with over 300,000 residents. We are seeking a certified, full time, outpatient Diabetes Nurse Practitioner with experience who can function independently. A Diabetes Nurse Practitioner who has also earned the credential CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator), is highly desired. This provider will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including educators, dieticians, health care and social workers to improve and maintain patient health outcomes. Other key duties include examining, interviewing, and diagnosing patients; ordering labs and developing treatment plans. Two years of experience as an outpatient Diabetes Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
