Purpose of Job

We are currently seeking a talented Privacy Advisor I for one of the following locations: San Antonio Home Office II/II, Colorado Springs Campus, Tampa Campus, Phoenix Campus or Plano Legacy.

Participates in the development, implementation, management and oversight of enterprise privacy programs and processes that support effective risk and compliance management in the first line of defense. Supports the enterprise Privacy Office and serves as a subject matter expert for privacy to include federal and state regulations.
Partners and collaborates with the lines of business, Compliance and Risk Management, Audit Services, Legal, and Regulators to support privacy-based initiatives. We are currently seeking a talented Director for Know Your Customer (“KYC”) Politically Exposed Persons (“PEP”) and Negative News Screening within Enterprise AML Compliance. KYC is the foundation to prevention in the Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) Program and lifecycle. KYC is essential to gaining an understanding of the normal and expected activity for customers and supporting USAA’s broader Enterprise AML Compliance Program to monitor, detect, and report potentially suspicious activity and guard against the facilitation of money laundering and terrorist financing.

The Director KYC PEP and Negative News Screening position will provide program operational oversight and compliance strategy and solutions for USAA and its affiliates by developing, implementing, and administering KYC processes, procedures, and Standards regarding PEP and Negative News Screening. The KYC Director will lead the PEP and Negative News Team in conducting PEP and Negative News screening of Customers, control persons, and beneficial owners associated with Customer relationships.
