What qualificationsyou will need:

      Graduate of anaccredited school of nursing.  BSNpreferred.

      Current licensure inthe State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.

       BLS – Health Care provider, ACLS and NRP.

      Experience in women’shealth or mom baby preferred.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Surgical Tech with us:

·         You will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide assistance during surgical procedures performed in the department in the scrub role.

·         You will be experienced in all aspects as aseptic technique, setting up the required equipment and sterile supplies as needed for their assigned cases; pulling cases as needed; and breaking down cases at the end of the procedure.

·         You may come in contact with medications and therefore must demonstrate understanding of proper medication management and storage as well as maintaining a secure medication environment. 

·         You will act as a preceptor, resource and mentor for new staff members, surgical technician students and existing staff.

 

What qualifications you will need:

·         Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

·         Registration as a Surgical Tech by Colorado Division of Registration (DORA) required. 

·         Current CST Certification from NBSTSA.

·         High School diploma or equivalent.

·         Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians.

·         One year minimum experience.  Advanced knowledge in the scrub role and responsibilities for multiple surgical specialties preferred.

Here is some of what you can expectfrom being a Pre-Op PACU Registered Nurse with us:


  • You will oversee and direct the care of the pre-surgical/post-procedural patient. 

  • You will serve as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

  • You will oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. 

  • You will deliver care, which is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients. 

  • You may be asked to rotate/float to areas other than your assigned service area, and you will perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency. 

 
What qualifications you will need:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license. 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

  • ACLS certification.

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

  • One(1) year minimum experience in PACU or Critical Care as a RN required.
