HASC provides highly qualified board certified surgeons for same-day surgical procedures, including ophthalmology, oculoplastic, gynecological, plastic, pediatric, orthopedic and arthroscopic surgeries, all with full anesthesia coverage. HASC is staffed with highly trained RN’s (ACLS and PALS) in the Pre Op/Post Op area and Operating Room. HASC provides highly skilled nursing care, assesses the patient as a whole and provides pre op/post op instructions to promote a positive surgical experience for the patient and family.

The Main Operating Room serves patients of all ages and is available twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week.  Located on the second floor, the unit has 9 operating room suites.   Highly skilled, board-certified surgeons with the help of specialty certified Nurses and technicians, perform a wide variety of surgical procedures in the fields GYN, General Surgery, ENT (ear/nose/throat) , Plastic Surgery, Urology , Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatric, Orthopedic,  and Neuro.  Greenwich Hospital surgeons employ the most innovative techniques which vary from the open approach, to laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures.  We also perform DaVinci robotic procedures for urology and gynecology.

HASC provides highly qualified board certified surgeons for same-day surgical procedures, including ophthalmology, oculoplastic, gynecological, plastic, pediatric, orthopedic and arthroscopic surgeries, all with full anesthesia coverage. HASC is staffed with highly trained RN’s (ACLS and PALS) in the Pre Op/Post Op area and Operating Room. HASC provides highly skilled nursing care, assesses the patient as a whole and provides pre op/post op instructions to promote a positive surgical experience for the patient and family.

As a core member of the Care delivery team, the Clinical Nurse practices as the patients nurse and collaborates with the team to facilitate the coordination of patient care at the unit level. The Main Operating Room serves patients of all ages and is available twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week.  Located on the second floor, the unit has 9 operating room suites.   Highly skilled, board-certified surgeons with the help of specialty certified Nurses and technicians, perform a wide variety of surgical procedures in the fields GYN, General Surgery, ENT (ear/nose/throat) , Plastic Surgery, Urology , Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatric, Orthopedic,  and Neuro.  Greenwich Hospital surgeons employ the most innovative techniques which vary from the open approach, to laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures.  We also perform DaVinci robotic procedures for urology and gynecology.

5 plus years experience intraoperative Nurse. Candidate who can scrub and circulate is highly desirable. Must be motivated and self- directed. Experience with Total Joints/Orthopedics, Neurosurgery spine although not required is also highly desirable.
